Designed for primary teeth, this short-handled (17–19mm) pediatric file protects delicate canal walls while ensuring efficient debris removal in tight mouth openings.

Clinical Usage Instructions (IFU) — Primary Files

1. Step 1: Preoperative radiograph to determine primary tooth root canal length. Explore to working length (WL) using an ISO 10 or 15 manual K-file.

2. Step 2: Select appropriate size: narrow canals → #25/04, moderate canals → #25/06 or #30/04, wide canals → #40/04.

3. Step 3: Advance with gentle pecking motions at 150–300 RPM (recommended to start at low speed). Primary root canals are short (6–10 mm) — carefully control depth.

4. Step 4: After repeated pecking motions until reaching WL, irrigate, dry, and obturate.

Safety Reminders

• The pulp floor of primary teeth is extremely thin — avoid over-enlarging the canal orifice during instrumentation.

• Use a rubber dam when patient cooperation is limited, especially in pediatric cases.

• Primary Files are designed exclusively for primary teeth and must not be used in permanent adult root canals.

• Start at 150 RPM and gradually increase speed based on tactile feedback and procedural feel.
